How fake online casinos are exploiting the Philippines' growing player base

Scroll through Facebook or TikTok in the Philippines and it won't take long to find one. An influencer sits in front of the camera, phone in hand, while a second screen shows a slot game in full flow. Bonus rounds cascade, and then the moment arrives: a "Php 100,000 big win", worth about US$1,600. The script rarely changes. The win is real, they say, and it could happen to anyone watching. All you need to do is click the link in the bio.
