SBC Summit Lisbon brings around 40,000 industry professionals, 600+ speakers and 800+ exhibitors together across two venues, Feira Internacional de Lisboa and MEO Arena. It's the biggest fixture on the iGaming calendar, and this year's agenda puts player protection at the centre of it, with a dedicated Player Protection Symposium and Player Protection Zone.
Fake games are one of the risks that gets the least airtime at events like this. Everyone in the room is investing in protecting players once they're on a real game. Fewer are talking about what happens when a player lands on a fake game built to look like the real thing.
That's the gap Gamecheck exists to close, and why James Elliott, our Founder, is opening the Player Protection Symposium. The Gamecheck SEAL gives operators a way to show their games are real. Being asked to open this symposium is a sign that the conversation is moving toward the problem we built Gamecheck to solve.
Operators who visit Stand PP100 will receive the Gamecheck SEAL at no cost for their first month. The Gamecheck team will be in the Player Protection Zone throughout SBC Summit Lisbon 2026, from 29 September to 1 October at Feira Internacional de Lisboa.
Three days, two venues, and every part of the iGaming industry under one roof.
The industry's biggest stage
Around 40,000 industry professionals, 600+ speakers and 800+ exhibitors make SBC Summit Lisbon the largest event on the iGaming calendar.
Two venues, one agenda
Feira Internacional de Lisboa and MEO Arena sit side by side in Lisbon's Parque das Nações district, hosting the exhibition floor, conference stages and sessions across the three days.
Player protection on the agenda
Gamecheck joins the Player Protection Zone at Stand PP100 and opens the Player Protection Symposium, putting player trust in front of the people shaping the industry's next moves.
The Player Protection Symposium runs as part of SBC Summit's six-stage conference agenda, bringing together regulators, operators, responsible gambling specialists and technology providers to look at how the industry moves from a compliance mindset to a preventative one. The symposium covers three areas: balancing regulatory objectives against the black market, the operator's role in safeguarding players, and technology's role in identifying and supporting at-risk players.
James Elliott, Founder of Gamecheck, opens the Player Protection Symposium with:
'Innovation in Tech: How Can Technology Keep Players Safe from Harm?'
Wed 30th September, 11am to 11:40am
Alongside the conference stages, the Player Protection Zone on the exhibition floor gives attendees a hands-on look at the tools and technology behind safer gambling, including Gamecheck's tools.
Jack Crabtree, Head of Sales, Gamecheck
Jack leads Gamecheck's sales work, and is the first point of contact for operators looking to bring the Gamecheck SEAL onto their platform.
Elizabeth McDermott, Partnerships Manager, Gamecheck
Elizabeth works with our partners to bring Gamecheck's tools into their player protection strategy.
Umur Ozan, Creative Strategist, Gamecheck
Umur will be on hand to talk through how the Gamecheck brand and player protection message land with operators.
Rosa Ochoa, Founder, Blue Global Gaming | Business Development LATAM, Gamecheck
Rosa leads Gamecheck's business development across LATAM. While she won't be in Lisbon, Spanish-speaking contacts can reach out to her for LATAM-related enquiries.
See the SEAL in action
Every operator carrying a Gamecheck SEAL displays a tamper-proof badge confirming that a selection of their games are real. Find us at the Gamecheck Stand PP100 in the Player Protection Zone to see how the Gamecheck SEAL works and how it can benefit your platform.
Try the tools yourself
Gamecheck's tools are built for real use by players, operators and affiliates. At SBC Summit Lisbon, you can try the Gamecheck SEAL, the Gamecheck app, the Gamecheck search tool and the Gamecheck Chrome Extension directly. Let us show you how easily they work.
Feira Internacional de Lisboa sits in Lisbon's Parque das Nações district, right by Gare do Oriente, one of the city's major transport hubs, and only a short ride from Lisbon Airport. MEO Arena, Portugal's largest indoor venue, stands next door and hosts the headline stages and evening events.
The week runs well beyond the show floor, with the SBC Awards, and a full evening events programme keeping delegates busy through to October.
The games on your platform should be exactly what they claim to be. Gamecheck shows operators how to protect their players and earn their trust, giving them the tools to keep games real.
Operators who visit Stand PP100 in the Player Protection Zone will receive the Gamecheck SEAL at no cost for their first month. Can't make it in person? Let's talk anyway.
