The SBC Summit Lisbon 2025 has drawn to a close.
Over four days, thousands gathered to exchange insights, showcase innovations, and debate the future of online casino gaming. For Gamecheck, it was both a platform to showcase our new tools and services as well as a learning experience.
Day 1
The opening day of SBC Summit 2025 brought energy and focus to Lisbon’s MEO Arena. Randi Zuckerberg, Founder and CEO of Zuckerberg Media, set the tone with her Super Stage keynote, “Move Fast and Break Things: Learning from Disruption.” From there, momentum carried into the Super CEO Panel, “The Present and Future of Gambling,” where leaders agreed on one defining point: growth in iGaming means little without trust.
Day 2
Under the Player Protection track, Gamecheck’s Founder and CEO James Elliott joined the panel “From Transparency to Technology: Raising Trust in iGaming.” Drawing on his background in intellectual property law, Elliott reminded the industry that trust is not a choice - it’s the foundation for the future. His message was clear: “Real games, not fake. Transparency, not secrecy. Fair play, not fraud.” The session left no doubt that transparency has moved from side theme to central priority.
Day 3
The final day took a global perspective, showing just how widespread fake games have become and why continuous monitoring is vital. For operators, discussions underscored the value of the Gamecheck SEAL as a visible commitment to integrity, helping them build trust with players and stand apart in a crowded market. As the summit closed, one message rang clear: trust and transparency will define the next chapter of iGaming.
Our meetings throughout the week pointed to one consistent concern: players are no longer satisfied with promises - they want proof of real games, integrity, and fair play. Operators can’t depend on words alone, providers can’t afford to see their intellectual property copied, and players won’t tolerate uncertainty.
The Gamecheck SEAL provides an all-encompassing solution - proof for operators, protection for providers, and reassurance for players. It offers visible assurance that games are genuine, protects providers from fake games, and gives players the confidence that they’re engaging with a fair platform.
What Lisbon revealed is a shift in mindset. The iGaming industry is no longer treating fake games as a side issue. Instead, integrity is moving to the centre of the conversation. For Gamecheck, that is validation of our mission.
From Lisbon, the path is clear. Gamecheck will continue to:
Lisbon showed the industry at its best: ambitious, collaborative, and increasingly focused on fairness. But it also showed the work ahead. Rogue operators will not disappear overnight. It will take ongoing vigilance and cooperation.
For Gamecheck, the message is clear: our role is to keep pushing for transparency, to protect players, and to support providers and operators who choose fair play.
